The main point appears to be that "... in yoga [as opposed to pilates], through the breath, and focusing on it within our body, we come to a greater understanding of both our body and ourselves."
So it would appear pilates is more of a physical process, whereas yoga also concentrates on the mental/spiritual side of things. This will of course depend on the tutor of the class you attend.</description>
